Everyone loves a frosty cocktail, but you’ll take it up a notch when you try one of these tasty shaved-iced recipes.

1. Smokey Mezcal Frozen Margarita
A touch of mezcal in the recipe gives a wonderful smokey taste to this classic frozen margarita, making it perfect for sipping fireside or poolside.

  • 3.5 fl oz of Smoky Mezcal
  • 1.5 fl oz Triple Sec
  • 2 fl oz Lime Juice
  • ½ oz agave
  • Ice
  • Optional: salt for rim

Add mezcal, Triple Sec, lime juice, and agave to the bottom mixing jar. Remove the top from the ice chamber and fill with ice to the pre-marked line. Reassemble. Close and lock the top with a clockwise quarter turn and press the start button.

This recipe makes two 9-ounce drinks. Rim each glass with salt before adding the creamy shaved-iced drink. Cheers!

Rim your glass with a spicy blend of chili powder and salt, to add an unexpected kick of heat, that really helps balance out the sweetness of this flirty floral margarita.

  • 1 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz hibiscus syrup
  • ½ oz agave
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • Ice
  • Optional: salt and chili powder for rim

Add tequila, hibiscus syrup, agave, and lime juice to the bottom mixing jar. Remove the top from the ice chamber and fill with ice to the pre-marked line. Reassemble. Close and lock the top with a clockwise quarter turn and press the start button.

  • 7.5 ml orange juice
  • Ice
  • Optional: pineapple or orange slice for garnish

Add white rum, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and orange juice to the bottom mixing jar. Remove the top from the ice chamber and fill with ice to the pre-marked line. Reassemble. Close and lock the top with a clockwise quarter turn and press the start button.
