Kick off your next party or tailgate with a frozen cocktail that has real bite. The Spicy Berry Margarita mixes the fruity, tropical flavors that Parrotheads love with spicy Southwestern ingredients for a delicious and unique drink that belongs on a hot, sandy beach in Mexico.
Make your own with these ingredients:
- 2 shots or 3 ounces of tequila
- 1 1/2 ounces fresh lime juice
- 6 slices of jalapeño
- 6 teaspoons agave nectar
- 3/4 cup blackberries
- Ice
- Your party machine
Start by cutting a jalapeño into thin slices, using 6 for the recipe, and then juice your lime until you have a single shot's worth of juice. Combine your tequila, peppers, berries, juice and agave into your Margaritaville® Bahamas™ Frozen Concoction Maker® blender jar. Put the jar in place, then fill up the ice reservoir and let your party machine do all the work.
Blend until your drinks are well-mixed and icy. Pour into margarita glasses and serve. Consider rimming the glasses with cayenne pepper salt, or garnishing the drink with lime, jalapeños or a few spare berries. Repeat this recipe as needed to let all of your guests try this unique concoction.
Your fellow Parrotheads at Margaritaville® Cargo remind you to enjoy your frozen concoctions responsibly and obey all drinking laws.
