Spiced Nuts

Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 ½ cups pecan halves
  • Kosher salt
Directions:
  • Place a large non-stick skillet on stovetop set to medium heat.
  • Add oil, ginger, curry and cayenne.
  • Sauté until aromatic, about 5 seconds.
  • Add sugar, honey and nuts.
  • Cook until nuts are well coated, about 5-6 minutes.
  • Place nuts on a cookie sheet lined with foil, separating nuts that have stuck together.
  • Season nuts with salt.
  • Cool nuts and store in airtight container at room temperature.
